telephone consultations and emails & attachments)
or on-site training and education course as described
in each seminar syllabus.
Our seminar courses are for the serious business person
who wants to develop and fine tune skills, techniques
and customer service in order to increase proficiency
and revenue. Graduates of our courses learn formulas
that continue to work for them long after graduation.

JWI Seminars teach you how to:
- Be in control of your business at every juncture
- Create efficient, manageable and long term business plans that are realistically accomplishable
Cost of Home Study (three
telephone consultations
and emails & attachments) Course:
- For the Wedding Consultant Certification Program:
$1,000.00
for one person;
for two people within the same company, $900 each;
for three people within the same company, $800 each.
Further discounts may be available for larger groups.
- For the Vendor Certification Program: $1,000.00
for one person.
To enroll in course, the following items:
- A letter requesting enrollment - include your name, address, phone, fax, and email.
- A cashier's check or money order for 50% of the course cost (per person); or, if registering overseas, the check must be a U.S bank draft in U.S. Dollars.

in the course
and your
first payment.
Requirements of Successful Completion:
- Completion of three telephone or on-site consultations with student.
- Course must be completed within three months of receipt of initial letter and fee.
- Extensions (maximum of six weeks) may incur a fee of $275.00. Under no condition will course be extended beyond six months without a letter from the JWI President.
Postage and telephone fees for home study (three
telephone consultations and emails & attachments) courses
are the responsibility of the student; travel/accommodation
and other fees will be incurred by student for on-site
instruction (outside of the San Francisco, CA, area).
Written work is required.
Fees are not refunded once manual is mailed or otherwise given to student.
Additional consultations, beyond the three contracted to complete the course, or if the course is extended beyond six months, to complete the course may incur a fee of $275.00 per two-hour consultation.

- A letter requesting registration and specifying which Seminar (The Beginner Wedding/Event Consultant; The Advanced Wedding/Event Consultant; The Professional Wedding/Event Professional) is being contracted. Please include your phone, fax, email, and complete address.
- One half of the total seminar fee in the form of money order or cashier's check. This amount must be submitted for each person enrolling in seminar.
- Receipt of the above will initiate enrollment of the seminar training course and will denote agreement and compliance with all of the above requirements and expectations. Manual and contract will be sent to student upon receipt of these documents.

JWI Certified Wedding Consultant Program

It was serendipity that I found Robbi's book, "Great Wedding Tips from the Experts" one day when I was thinking "isn't there some kind of course on wedding coordinating I could take?" Robbi's class gave me new insight into the area of publicity. He encouraged us to take a proactive role with the media and not wait to be "interviewed" by them. Critiquing an article as to it's content accuracy would be one way to become known as an expert in your field. The Vendor Certification Course taught me much more about publicizing my business and being called upon by the media for an experienced view on aspects of the wedding floral industry.
